Is your caravan RVSafe?
You can never predict an accident, injury, or emergency but you can be prepared for them. Your RV is like a second home, so shouldn’t it have the same safety features your house would? There are a number of products made for RVs and caravans that can be installed to help prevent an accident or assist you if something does happen.

Smoke Alarm
A smoke alarm is one of the most important things to have installed in your RV, and it is ideal for fast flaming fires. The Hush Alarm is a photoelectric smoke alarm, where it shoots a beam of light across a chamber and when smoke enters it, it deflects the light to a photosensor which triggers the alarm. It includes a 10-minute hush features in case of a false alarm to give the chamber time to clear and comes with a 9V battery. For peace of mind, a warning signal will alert when the battery is running low.

Gas Detector
If you’re cooking with gas or are using a gas heater, you want to ensure that any gas leaks are detected quickly to prevent fire. A gas detector can detect combustible or toxic gas leakage that is reaching 10% of the Lowest Explosion Limit which will trigger its alarm. It is lightweight, can be hung on the wall, and runs on 12V!

Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a highly poisonous gas with no taste, colour or smell – a potentially deadly hazard in a small RV space. A carbon monoxide alarm can detect the early presence of CO that could emit from heating or cooking systems, engines or fuel. Quell’s carbon monoxide alarm includes coloured LED lights that flash to indicate levels and system operation, and a 10-year limited warranty.
