The remote lock slides into the awning arm channel and operates the release mechanism for the awning lock, allowing smooth extension and retraction of your awning.

Please Note: These remote locks measure 978mm in length, which is slightly shorter than some older versions but still fully compatible with all Carefree universal hardware.

Fitting Instructions

• Fully extend your awning until the arms are locked open.

• Remove the screw holding the arm cap in place — do not bump the ratchet lever.

• Slide the new remote lock down the exposed extrusion channel.

• Refit the cap and secure the screw.

• Carefully slip the top of the remote lock over the ratchet lever.
