Ideal product for F80s awningBe aware that this bracket kit suits transit roofs with 5 mounting holes/ bolts. It is also designed for RHS only and to use it for mounting an awning on the LHS (which would be typical for RHD vehicles) you will need to drill new holes. I have 4 mounting positions on my Transit and was able to cut the track up into 2 pieces and reverse, using the pre-drilled holes and joining with custom rivetted sleeves to marry up the ends (this was to mount a Fiamma F80S 340 awning)Posted on
The bracket feet do not fit as pictured in the technical drawing on my 2016 ford transit VO 350L (AUSTRALIAN model). You will need to make 9mm packers to allow for clearance on the leading edge of the mounting bracket. As it does not sit in the channel as shown in the picture (mounting inserts on transit roof sit further back then pictured). Great quality product just difficult to find the clear information on compatibility with Australian model TRANSITS.
