Suburban Nautilus On Demand Instantaneous Hot Water Heater

Details
Turn the tap and get hot water straight away, no waiting, no running out. The Suburban Nautilus is built for caravan and RV use, giving you continuous hot water on demand, just like home.
No tank means no recovery time. You’re not heating and reheating water all day—you’re only heating it when you need it. That means better efficiency, less gas use and fewer maintenance issues compared to old storage systems.
If you’re upgrading from a Suburban tank unit, this is a straightforward swap, using the same cut-out size
How It Works:
The Nautilus uses a 60,000 BTU two-stage burner system:
• Low demand = 2 burners (saves energy)
• High demand = 5 burners (keeps water hot at higher flow)
It automatically adjusts in the background, so you get a steady, comfortable temperature without constantly fiddling with taps.
Features:
• nsItant, continuous hot water
• Tankless design – no recovery time
• Suits standard Suburban cut-out (easy upgrade)
• Two-stage modulating burner system
• Built-in freeze protection
• More efficient than storage tank systems
• Optional digital control panel for temp adjustment
• Designed for caravans, campers and RVs

How hot does it get?
Adjustable from 35°C to 50°C (with optional control panel).
What do I need to buy separately?
• Vent kit (required)
• Door/panel (for replacements)
• Digital control panel (recommended)
Can I install it myself?
No , must be installed by a licensed gas fitter.
Does it need a vent?
Yes , a Suburban vent is required and must match your wall thickness.
What power does it need?
• 12V DC (for ignition/control)
• Gas (LPG) for heating
Why does temperature fluctuate?
Usually caused by low or inconsistent water flow.
This unit needs a minimum 1.9 L/min flow to operate properly.
Quick tip for best performance
Turn hot tap on first, then adjust with cold.
